Scott Henderson Blues Guitar Lesson - Jimi Hendrix & Stevie Ray Vaughan style Solo Lesson

In this 4 part Guitar Lesson ... we present yet another Series of Free Guitar Lessons based on the Amazing Scott Henderson.

Scott embodies the best of Blues Guitar, Jazz Guitar and Rock Guitar. He combines his Blues and Rock influences of Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Led Zeppelin, Richie Blackmore and Albert King with his Jazz Influences of Chic Corea, John Scofield, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Pat Metheny and Michael Landau ... to create an awe inspiring mixture of sounds with Tonal qualities that scream out Scott Henderson with every note you hear.

Scott Henderson is the best Guitar Player in the world. Yes I know this statement may start a lengthy discussion with many people. However ... even if you are of the opinion that another one of your Favorite Guitar Players is "the best Guitarist ever" ... I would probably agree with you while also declaring that "MY" previous assessment was also true.

Confusing ... yes ... either way ... Scott Henderson IS the best guitar player ever.

Alright ... that asinine statement aside (lol ... there is no "best" guitarist ever ... just a whole lot of "amazing" guitar players) ... I can honestly say, Scott Henderson is one of my favorite Guitar Players and I learn something new from him every time I sit down and listen to him.

If you are not very familiar with Scott and his Playing ... check out his website at ...

... there you will find everything Scott Henderson. Don't forget to check out his Message Board (both the old one and the NEW one). And if you don't feel like doing any of the above ... you at least owe it to yourself to purchase every single Scott Henderson CD you can find (this I'm not joking about). You will be inspired and simply blown away by everything you hear and it will give you years and years of stuff to learn from.

Now to this Lesson ... in this (part 1 of 4) Guitar Lesson we will Breakdown the outro to the song Tore Down House off of Scott's CD called Tore Down House. This outro is so amazing ... with touches of Hendrix mixed with Stevie Ray ... but all with Scott's unique flavor.

We will walk you note for note thru this Guitar Solo that mixes great Rhythm and Chord devices with awesome single note Blues and Arpeggio Lines.

We hope you get a lot out of this Free Guitar Lesson and let us know if you want to see more of these Lessons by heading over to and shoot us comments and requests on our Contact page.
